Most recently, I have been reviewing Covergirl & Olay's Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and the Covergirl & Olay Pressed Powder. The Tone Rehab foundation is available in 14 shades. I chose 125- Buff Beige for review. I was worried that it would be a bit too dark for my skin tone, but it turns out to be the perfect shade for me. Previously, I had used mineral makeup and most recently was just using tinted moisturizer or not wearing any makeup at all. Suffering from Rosacea, I am uncomfortable with how red my cheeks are and my face also has a tendency to get a bit oily if I do wear liquid type foundations so I tend to avoid them. I was pleasantly surprised with the Tone Rehab 2-in-1 foundation. The pump dispenser gives you an equal amount of both foundation and serum, perfectly blended which allows for flawless application. It is light and airy and absorbs into the skin within a few seconds. The scent is slightly floral, but nothing overpowering and disappears as the foundation is absorbed.
The Covergirl & Olay Pressed Powder is available in 6 shades. I chose 320- Fair/Light. The powder really does instantly brighten skin tone and gave my face a softened look. It goes on smoothly and provides excellent coverage. Considering the cost of this powder (the cheapest I've seen it was around $10.50) I would have thought it would have included a better quality powder puff. I've also noticed that the top layer of the powder is starting to look a big "cakey" and I'm not sure why.
The combined foundation and hydrating serum claims to cover fine lines & wrinkles and to help hydrate the skin to improve skin tone over time. Seeing as I am 42, I have noticed some fine lines creeping in. After using both the foundation and the powder for over 2 weeks now, I have noticed much improvement in my skin tone and texture! My Rosacea is still an issue but I have seen a slight decrease in the redness. On occasion, I still have a bit of trouble with my face getting oily but this tends to happen later in the day and it is no where near the problem that it is when I use regular cream or liquid foundations.
Overall, I am loving the Covergirl & Olay Tone Rehab 2-in-1 Foundation and Pressed Powder and I definitely plan on continuing to use it! One great thing, if you purchase the Tone Rehab 2-in-1 foundation and are not satisfied with the results, the company will refund your money!
Thanks BzzAgent for this opportunity!
