I had the awesome opportunity of attending a pre-screening of Marvel's The Avengers this past week and all I can say is WOW! Although the movie is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and a mild drug reference, I enjoyed the movie with my 12 year old son. This was the first 3-D movie for both of us and it was amazing. My only "con" is that there was cussing throughout the entire movie but I was grateful that the F-bomb was not dropped.
Being a huge Robert Downey, Jr. fan, I have seen both Iron Man 1 & 2 but after watching The Avengers and seeing Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans in action I know I definitely will be watching Thor and Captain America in the near future.
The Avengers was a great mix of humor and action with a tiny bit of romance thrown in. The clip below was one of my favorite parts of the movie!
I know several of my friends were planning on seeing The Avengers tonight and I know they will love it as much as we did. If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, head for the theater to see Marvel's The Avengers!
