Cooper and Me and the Military Book Review & Giveaway - Ends 2/22

If you follow my blog, you probably already know how much I adore the Cooper and Me series. Created & written by mother and daughter team Monique and Alexa Peters, the series is inspired by their real-life family dog Cooper. Each book provides adults and children with the opportunity for conversation and problem solving with the Life Lesson, Connections, and Learning Together topics.

Cooper and Me and the Military is dedicated to all the wonderful families who serve our country, especially Tami, Gracie, and Mark Hilton, who inspired them to write this special addition to their series.  This book, with the help of Cooper's best friend Trooper, helps children know that even when their loved ones are not with them, they still love them and are still thinking of them.

My son, who is 4, enjoyed this book just as much (if not more) than the previous 2 books we have read. He likes the story, told in rhymes and loves looking at the pictures over and over again. Alexa Peters & Melissa Peterson have done a great job with the illustrations! This book is a wonderful tribute to the men and woman who serve and a gentle reminder of the importance of staying connected with our loved ones.
