The Treasure of God's Word Book Review

The Treasure of God's Word

Celebrating 400 Years of the King James Bible by Jack Countryman

As summer gave way to fall, so will winter soon be upon us and with it, comes the holiday season and gift giving. I can think of no better gift for a Pastor, a Sunday School teacher, or anybody who loves the beautiful message of the King James Bible, than this book celebrating the upcoming 400 year anniversary of God’s Word.

From it’s beautiful leather bound cover to the glossy gilded-edged pages and the passages and illustrations they contain, this book is one to be treasured. The author provides us with a brief informative history of the King James Bible from its birth to current revisions along with some of the most beautiful, inspiring verses of the Bible. It’s attractiveness as a coffee table book doubling as an inspiring devotional makes it the perfect gift to give anybody who appreciates the beauty of the King James Text. It would make a wonderful addition to any library!
