Very crazy past couple of days here. My toddler son started running a slight fever yesterday afternoon which elevated to over 102 degrees late last night. After being up most the night, I woke up feeling not quite up to par myself. Sure hope I'm not getting the flu. My son is still running a fever although he is showing no other symptoms and isn't complaining about a thing. Hoping he'll be just fine and dandy tomorrow! My youngest has a compromised immune system due to contracting whooping cough at 6 weeks of age so we have to be very careful. If I were smart, I would have purchased stock in the makers of Lysol and Clorox Wipes!
The "box man" (as my son calls the UPS man) has been here several days in a row which means I have reviews piling up. Being fairly new to it all, and having not written for a good long while, it takes me f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get it just right, and even then I'm not sure it's ok. I guess it's a good thing I don't get paid for doing it because I don't think my employer would get his money's worth.
Very grateful for all of my new followers. It doesn't seem like it would be, but it's hard work building up your following! I'm always in awe when I see a new blog that has over 200 followers. Lot of networking going on! And, it's so time consuming (but worth it in the long run). I get annoyed here lately though with all the word verifications that you don't see until after you click the "back" button so then you have to reload the page, type the comment in again, submit, wait for the stupid letters to show, type them in, hit submit again. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Now, I will admit I have moderation and I'm glad that I do. Had a comment last week that was a real doozie and I would have died had it gone through. This is a family friendly blog after all! Music players on blogs are also a recent pet peeve of mine. My system runs so slooooooow on those blogs. And since I seem to be on a roll, what about when you try to follow somebody but you get to their blog, and there is no way to follow them. "Grrrrr".
On a more positive note, it is absolutely beautiful here in Southern Ohio. I LOVE Fall. It is my favorite season of all. I love the crunchy leaves, the beautiful colors, the crisp morning air. The only thing I don't like about it is that it gives way to winter which equals snow (which I don't drive in, ever) but even that isn't totally bad as it means Christmas will be here soon. Winter also means birthdays and parties! My birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year, which means I get to eat a lot without feeling guilty. Well, I guess I wouldn't feel guilty anyway. My husband and sister also share a birthday on the same day, 2 days before Christmas as well as 2 of my children having December birthdays. A very hectic month, to say the least!
While tucking my little boy in tonight, he says to me "pssst....I love you four", to which I replied, "I love you five", and he says "I love you six" and then he rolls his eyes and tells me he's bored. LOL He's 2 1/2. How can he be bored? Two minutes later, he was asleep. I love watching my babies sleep. It brings such an unspeakable joy to my heart to dwell on their sweet little faces.
Hoping to get my reviews posted soon on two AWESOME products. One being Mineral Hygienics and the other Klutz books. I love these products! Check back soon to see why!
So, I guess I've been boring enough for one night! Off to network!
